This department has facilities to determine pathophysiology associated with speech, language, voice, fluency, articulation and swallowing disorders. Apart from speech and language tests for differential diagnosis , the department has Dr.Speech software for diagnostic application. Vocal function estimates of hoarseness, harshness, breathiness, regularity of vocal fold vibration and glottic closure time are obtained.

Speech and Language Intervention
Speech therapy involves the treatment of adult and children with verbal and nonverbal difficulties to improve their communication skills. Speech and Language assessment and treatment is provided by RCI certified Speech Language Pathologists
